• Now you can save your configuration without editing the config manually the server. The reload has been removed (at least temporarily).
• $IP$ , $HOSTNAME$ and $UPTIME$ variables available in the /motd.
• /BlockV , /BlockK , /BlockB added. Same as the /Block, but who triggers the selected word will be de-voiced, kicked, banned respectively.
• Added /setAdvOption ViewJoinAttempts= in the config file. Set to 0 if you don't like the messages displayed when someone fails to join (for ex.: when banned)
• You can use colour codes in the "now is Admin" messages too.
• Added levels J and j. Who gets the J can see the "kicked" ("banned") message; who gets the j can see the name of the agent or admin who kicked (banned) someone, too. Removed /setAdvOption SeeKick=
• The server now should connect to the wpn even if the piepatch is not installed. In this case, place a "hosts" file into the FXServer folder in order to make the server use those IPs; otherwise it will try with some default IPs.
• Translation to italian (prepared for any languages, so maybe more will be available in the future).
• Of course, some bugs (and security bugs) fixes.

Many bug fixes. Added admin/agent messages setup in the config file too (ex: /setAdvOption Get@Msg=$NAME$ is now an Admin), see the example config file attached to the server on the download page. Added /ShowRoom command. Add /ShowRoom 1 to your config file to make the server connect to the wpn on startup,/ShowRoom 0 otherwise. All the Admins (access A) can use this command.
Now "/setuserlevel <username> reset" should work (to reset one's access level to default).
Little update to the helplevel page fixing some mistakes :p

7-10-05  v1.3.1 out. Important fixes and improvements about the connections to the Wpn. /zone command (see Wpn Options from FXServ Menu) actually for future use with located cache servers.

• Improved colours management, /setAdvOption NickColours= to disable colours from nicknames only, and /setAdvOption ColourCodesVisible= to enable you to show/hide the colour codes when colours are not active. The commands to enable and disable the colours are still /enablecolour and /disablecolour (Admin access required)
• Banlist saved on file
• /unban command now supports IPs too.

21-7-05 v1.2.6  Something new:

• Now different textformats are possible for Admins, too.
• Added the systray icon, in order to hide the server from the task bar.
• Rename message is customizable. Added the command in config file /setAdvOption RenameMessage=<message> (download the server for an example)
• Added 2 access letters: 'a' for using /action or /me, and 'C' for using Caps in text.
• Name cloning protection (ie. User123 and User321 are no longer allowed when name trimming is set to 9). Correspondent command is /setAdvOption checkNameCloning=1 so you can disable it if you want.
• New option that allow you to disable the kick/ban notification with the name of the admin who kicked/banned.  The command in the config file is /setAdvOption SeeKick=1
• The text format active for each users now is visible with a "F" right near the access level in the same column.
• Minor improvements and bug fixes.

6-7-05 v1.2.4  Fixed (hopefully) bug that caused many crashes. Added the Autoadmin option for the localhost. Minor bugs fixed. Added /forcelogin command. Soon some new features :)

25-6-05 v1.2.2  Fixed the "can't log to admin" bug. Added the /message <name> <message> command for sending private messages in the room, and the #NEWLINE# keyword in order to write multiple lines. Added the "p" level (for the command /message) and the "N" level for #NEWLINE#.

Some words about how you can change the text format of a user.
/setuserlevel <name> +FN   Replace with N the numeber of the text format that you have defined with the command /textformat N=<format>  (Admins has a single text format, so you don't have to set it with /setuserlevel or with /addpassword. Set it with /DefaultFormat Admin=N  or from the Option window of the server)

Well, the release of this version has been anticipated due to those usual idiots who have found out a bug in the server, so that they can have fun by messing up the rooms... I said i was making some changes in the server, but it seems i have to fix this little bug first. Then, only some changes have been implemented, and almost all are still incomplete.. so please be patient until i put online a better version, and don't care too much about the bugs related to the new features, cause they have not been tested at all... :)
At least, the bug of the rabbit-user that make all users to fall, should be fixed.

The main changes are in the config file.
Added the commands:

/TextFormat n=<format>   n is the number that identifies the text format. See the config.txt as an example, download it from the download section.

/addPassword  <YourPassword>=<access>=n   the new thing is the n parameter, indentifier of the text format. The user that logs in with that password will use the specified textformat. You can make many textformats and passwords as you want

To change the textformat used by someone you can now use the command /setuserlevel with the command +Fn where n is the number identifying the text format. For example, you want your friend to appear in the room with the 2nd text format created with /TextFormat. Well you will type /setuserlevel NameOfYourFriend_12345 +F2

/DefaultFormat User=n   Set the default text format for the normal user
/DefaultFormat +=n   Set the default text format for users with the "+" access
/DefaultFormat Admin=n Set the default text format for the Admins

Many other changes, see the config file for an example. Download it with the server from the download section.

Note that this version is temporary, soon a new tested version and, hopefully, better than this one :p

Please redownload the server from this site in order to update the config file. Do not use the autoupdate this time. Thanks
